Working alongside Mr Macara QC, Aimée drafted and submitted an application to the ECHR in Strasbourg relating to a claim that the client’s human rights had been breached under Article 6(1), 6(2), and 6(3)(a) & (e) of the European Convention on Human Rights. These grounds relate to the right to a fair trial, the right to be presumed innocent and the right to be tried in a language which he understands.
Aimée was involved in the successful defence of an Ex-Hearts striker cleared of accusations of assaulting his partner and kidnapping a child. You can read our press release here.
