Adam graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a First Class Degree in Law and French Law (Honours) in June 2023. Adam’s studies included a year spent at the Faculté de droit, University of Strasbourg in France. This was an excellent opportunity to live and study in another country and allowed Adam to understand more about French law and culture. This experience also enabled him to become proficient in the French language.
Adam joined Beltrami & Co in November 2024 as a trainee solicitor following completion of the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh in July of that year. Adam is currently gaining experience in matters of criminal and civil litigation across the firm.
He is a keen follower of Scottish Rugby and regularly attends internationals at Murrayfield. Adam otherwise spends his time reading and playing guitar.
“When my son was thrown into requiring legal representation, we were pointed in the direction of Beltrami & Co. My son met with Mr McAteer and he absolutely never looked back. No longer did we feel totally lost and without proper guidance and support in the very complicated area of Scottish law. Simon Whyte showed everyone in the courtroom, a masterclass in the art of criminal defence and reduced a very high charge down to a realistic conviction. Yes, a conviction but given ALL the evidence presented in the case, it was the only real outcome and one that the team at Beltrami & Co had prepared us for. They never promised the earth knowing that the case didn't lend itself to a clear cut guilty/not guilty and believe it or not, this was actually something that made us feel more comfortable with their services. My son and I will be forever indebted to Simon, Adam and everyone at Beltrami & Co for providing a thorough defence where absolutely nothing was missed. If you are debating the value of spending that extra money for Beltrami & Co or A.N.Other solicitors, my advice to everyone and anyone would be stop thinking about it and contact them. You without a doubt will never regret it. Should anyone in my family ever be in the position of requiring representation, I doubt any of us would look elsewhere.”
