After being cleared by a jury after trial on a number of serious charges last month, a client has written to the firm to express his thanks. The client, a university student, was represented by solicitor advocate Alan Gravelle and solicitor Callum Hiller at the High Court in Glasgow during a legal process lasting 18 months.
The client said: "Dear Alan and Callum, I am writing to express my gratitude for the work you have done for me over this past year and a half. Today is the first day since we first met that I have felt normal again and I have both of you to thank for that. I have never had the need for legal expertise (and hopefully won't again) but I can't imagine that I could have got better help elsewhere.
"There hasn't been a single time throughout this ordeal, from consultations at the office to the trial itself, where I have doubted the level of professionalism and service I received. This trial has been the most daunting thing I have ever had to experience but between both of your performances in the courtroom and your counsel and words of motivation outside of it, I felt safe.
"I am now able to continue my studies and I am more motivated than ever to succeed. You are both a credit to your office and to your profession, and myself and my family will never forget what you have done for us."
