Emily graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class LLB (Honours) degree in 2022 and completed her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh a year later.

Since joining the firm in February 2024, Emily has predominantly worked in the firm’s civil department gaining a range of experience in a variety of subject matters including public inquiries, contract disputes, and family matters.

She has also gained experience in criminal matters, including assisting during trials and appeals.

Outside of the courtroom, Emily is a motorsport rally co-driver and regularly competes both nationally and internationally. Emily is also one of the few co-drivers to be selected to represent UK Motorsport through the Motorsport UK Academy Co-drivers Programme. Her years spent competing at the highest level in British Rallying have rewarded her with a high level of attention to detail and professional approach, standing her in good stead as a trainee lawyer.
